Dr. Waldo is the Walter H. Pritchard Professor of Cardiology, Professor of Medicine, and a Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at Case Western University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He has published more than 450 papers in the field of cardiac electrophysiology, in which he has worked, and helped to advance since its inception several decades ago. He has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Scientist Awards from NASPE (now called HRS), and the American College of Cardiology. His extensive public service has included serving on NIH NHLBI study sections, and FDA advisory committees; President and Trustee of NASPE, and editorial board of numerous Journals in the field.
