Dr. Hani is an experienced Clinical and Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Aurora Advocate Health Care in Milwaukee, WI. He received his training under Dr. Akhtar and Dr. Sra. He is the fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. He is leading numerous clinical research projects and he is the author/co-author of various papers, abstracts, and book chapters. Dr Hani is the site director for the EP fellowship program at Grafton Medical Center, working with advanced EP fellows and complex ablations. He is a member of the team that developed the new and novel cardiac 3D mapping system (Navik), which is now FDA approved. He performed the first successful long-lasting persistent AF ablation completely using only the Navik 3D system and Cryoballoon. Dr Hani has a special interest in atrial fibrillation ablation and the role of the cardiac autonomic innervation. He is the director of Atrial Fibrillation Center at Aurora Advocate Medical Center-Grafton. Dr Hani is known as an innovator, entrepreneur, and thought leader. He is currently working on numerous innovative medical technology projects and sponsors medical projects at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of engineering.
