Dr. MingMing Ning is Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Cardio-Neurology Division at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is a board-certified vascular neurologist employing a wide range of innovations from clinical omics/mass spectrometry to digital technology with music for patients with brain injury and cognitive impairment. Her pioneering work advances neurovascular care by monitoring brain-heart communication through blood to individualize treatment. Dr. Ning’s multi-disciplinary collaborations have resulted in more than 200 publications and clinical trials; she has received multiple innovation awards from the American Heart Association, American Academy of Neurology and Howard Hughes Medical Institute among others and has been named among America’s top neurologists. Dr. Ning has served as President of the American Federation for Medical Research following Dr. Anthony Fauci, and on the board of various interdisciplinary organizations such as FASEB, Harvard Medical School MPCTI, as associate editor of BMJ/Journal of Investigative Medicine, and co-chair of OMICs for the Stroke PRG of the National Institutes of Health.
