Dr. Turagam is a cardiac electrophysiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. He completed his cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York where he served as Chief Fellow between 2019-2020. His focus involves performing advanced interventional therapies for various atrial and ventricular arrhythmias including catheter ablation, device implantation and left atrial appendage occlusion. In addition, Dr. Turagam is actively involved in clinical research focusing on new technologies for catheter ablation, left atrial appendage closure and neuromodulation. He has authored over 180-peer reviewed scientific publications and feels fortunate to serve on local and national committees devoted to advanced arrhythmia care.
