,Helmut Purerfellner, MD, FESC, FEHRA, FHRS, is head of the Department of Electrophysiology and Senior Consultant at Ordensklinikum Linz, Austria. He has been actively working for the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) since 2011 including a duty as Scientific Program Chair for the Annual Congress (6000 participants in 2017) and was elected in the Executive Board as Treasurer for 2018-2020. He served as the International Affairs Coordinator in the period 2020-2022. He is currently EHRA Executive Board Member and EHRA President Elect for 2022-2024.
